This blog has been a little inactive, because I’ve been following my own advice and feeling good.
- Start your day productive. Make your bed.
- Productivity leads to productivity.
- Every choice is my own conscious decision.
Making your bed once you get up takes under 10 seconds and will start your day off being productive. Simply starting my day by completing this task makes me feel great.
I have a tendency to have trouble starting things, but when I start I can’t stop. This means that when I start my day by making my bed I also end up tidying my room a little, washing dishes, giving my bathroom a quick wipe. These cleaning tasks make me think “Why not just deliver this package” or “I will complete that assignment today also.”
Whether you believe this or not: Every choice made by you is a choice made by you. That means you should consider heavily what you are doing. Are you sitting at the computer when you have an assignment due or you could be spending time with family or friends? You are choosing not to spend your time with them or spend your time productively. How do you feel about that? Bad? Change it.
